Memorial for those lost at Ft. Hood.

Friends,

One of the soldiers killed last week at Fort Hood is from Plymouth, IN. We have been asked to present the Gold Star Flags to his parents, Daniel DeCrow, Rhonda & Todd Thompson, and his widow & daughter, Marikay & Kylah DeCrow. Please help us fill condolence books for them as well.

I've expanded my normal "list" to include my Gold Star family as well. We know what the family is going through right now, the shock, the pain, the disbelief of that knock on the door. Many of us also know the pain of "friendly fire" incidents. Please, help me send words of comfort, even though we know there's NOTHING we can do or say that will ease their pain right now. As we all know, you can't understand unless you've "been there" like they have.

The funeral is set for this Saturday, and I know that's not a lot of time, but I need the condolences by Friday at noon, so I have enough time to put the books together for presentation at the funeral.
